Your journey takes you through the turquoise lagoon, where the calm morning sea offers ideal paddling conditions. Along the way, stop at the legendary Crystal Rock, a volcanic formation rising dramatically from the lagoon—perfect for photos. You’ll then continue to Benitiers Island, where you can relax on its white sandy shores, enjoy a swim, or simply soak in the peaceful atmosphere.
This experience is designed to avoid peak hours, allowing you to fully connect with the natural beauty of the lagoon in a quiet and intimate setting. With a small group and an experienced guide ensuring your safety and comfort, it’s the perfect balance of adventure and serenity.
Please note that the activity requires good physical condition, swimming ability, and prior kayaking experience. Life vests are provided, and it is important to eat something before the outing to keep your energy levels up.

What you’ll do

Meet & Brief (10–15 min)
Meet your guide at the launch point. Safety briefing, gear fitting, and paddling techniques. Life vests are provided. -
Lagoon Paddle (30–40 min)
Cross the crystal-clear lagoon at a steady pace, enjoying the surrounding coral reef and views of Le Morne. -
Crystal Rock Stop (15–20 min)
Pause at the famous Crystal Rock for photos and stories about this unique formation. -
Island Landing (30–45 min)
Arrive at Benitiers Island. Enjoy time to rest, swim, or explore its natural beauty. -
Return Paddle (30–40 min)
Kayak back across the lagoon, soaking up the scenery. -
Wrap-Up (5 min)
Gear return, debrief, and farewell. Photos or clips taken by the guide may be shared after the tour.

- Participants must be in good physical shape with no arm-related medical conditions

- Previous kayaking experience required
- Maximum weight: 100 kg per person
- Minimum age: 12 years old
- Tours may be adjusted or rescheduled depending on tides, currents, or weather
- The guide will be the only contact person on the day of the tour before 8:00am (our office is closed from 6pm to 8am. You will receive the guide’s contact details upon booking or on the eve of the activity date by email (make sure to check your spams if you did not receive the email)

Good experience of Tamarind Falls Canyoning Adventure
瀑降非常好玩，完全不危险。有绳降，有zip line，有游泳，有跳水（害怕可以不跳，绳降下去）。有3个工作人员提供保护，帮你拍照，背水。照片下午会发给你，且没有额外费用。个人觉得比徒步要更好玩些，100%推荐。Very good experience, not dangerous.Have 3 guys to protect you and take photo. The skill is not difficult to learn. Best way to visit the Tamarind Falls, 100% recommend.
Lovely walk in nature
Bird watching tour in the Black River Gorges NP with Yudish. A lovely early morning walk through the woods. Lucky enough to see a rare Mauritian kestrel and some other lovely animals. Nature facts from Yudish kept us informed and entertained!
Great afternoon hike
Well led and fun hike up Le Morne Brabant with our guide Yudish. Steep climb at the end is pretty challenging but the view is well worth it.
