Mauritius has a lot to offer, and this bundle is one of the best ways to experience it.
The Best of Mauritius collection brings together three of our most popular experiences: a guided hike at Tamarind Falls (7 Cascades), a sunrise hike on the iconic Morne Brabant, and a kayak tour with dolphins in Tamarin Bay.
At Tamarind Falls (7 Cascades), you explore one of Mauritius’ most scenic inland locations on a guided half-day hike.
Hidden in the island’s lush interior, the trail takes you through tropical forest, sugarcane fields, across rivers, and down into a canyon where some of the island’s most impressive waterfalls await.
Over 3 hours, you’ll discover five of the thirteen waterfalls that make up this remarkable site, with opportunities to pause, enjoy the surroundings, and swim in natural pools.
The route is varied, with sections involving roots and uneven terrain, some requiring the use of hands for support, but remains accessible with the guidance of our experienced team.
On the southwest coast, you start your day with an early morning hike up Le Morne Brabant, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Mauritius’ most iconic landmarks.
The hike is available in both morning and afternoon sessions, which can be selected at the time of booking. The trail becomes steeper toward the summit and includes short sections where hands are required for balance. Your guide will support you throughout, ensuring a safe and enjoyable climb.
At the summit, you are rewarded with sweeping panoramic views over the lagoons of the west and south-west, offering a unique perspective on the island’s coastline and surrounding landscape.
On the west coast, you head out on a guided kayak tour in the Tamarin Bay, one of the best locations in Mauritius to observe dolphins.
You paddle along the coastline in the early morning, when sightings are most likely. The approach is respectful and non-intrusive, allowing you to observe dolphins in their natural habitat without disturbing them.
As dolphins are wild animals, sightings cannot be guaranteed. If they are not present, your guide will take you along an alternative route on the Tamarin River, known for its birdlife and peaceful surroundings.
Each activity can be scheduled on different days and in any order, depending on your itinerary.
This bundle is designed for travelers looking for a well-rounded introduction to Mauritius — combining mountains, waterfalls, and ocean experiences through guided outdoor activities.
