a relaxing paddle up the river

Feb 03, 2026
Our guide Eliza was efficient at getting us on to the water and we had a very pleasant paddle up the river in a tandem kayak.

You don't need to be an experienced kayaker. The other couple with us weren't and they managed fine.

It was low tide and the river was quite low in places, but it didn't cause any big issue.

Do wear factor 50 suncream and a hat or you will get tosted. Take water as well.

Pristine nature with wonderful guide Paj!

Fantastic tour! Our guide Paj was the most motivated and knowledgeable person about the area, he was enthusiastic and attentive the entire way. If we had more time, we would definitely go on another hike with him!

The area was beautiful and felt untouched in many places. There was also crystal clear water of the river where we could take a plunge and enjoy a refreshing swim
