Le Morne Brabant est la montagne la plus iconique du sud-ouest de l’Île. Celle-ci est l’habitat d’une très grande variété d’espèces endémiques et étroitement endémiques, comme la rare Trochetia Boutoniana, qui est notre emblème floral national. Cette montagne est aussi et surtout un symbol fort de liberté de paix chez les Mauriciens par son histoire. Lors de l’ascension, certaines parties raides nécessiteront l’utilisation de nos mains pour progresser en toute sécurité vers le sommet..

We were more than an hour late to meet Nicolas our guide, but if he was annoyed, it did not show. Nicolas was charming from the start and a wonderful guide, offering just the right number of interesting insights, facts and anecdotes as we walked. He was wonderful with the children, particularly in the sense that he gave clear guidance as to when the next little stop or viewpoint would be. We loved our outing and will definitely do another walk on our next visit to Mauritius!

More than just a guided hike, climbing Le Morne with Yanature was a communion with the environment. We took time to enjoy every single step, learn about many trees and flowers along the way and of course appreciate stunning views.

I had the chance to hike with Yan, and we could all feel how much he was into sharing his love for the region and his activity. And how much he cares about you being comfortable and confident along the way. Such a complete human experience and a great meeting in addition ! Tons of thanks !

Thank you for the wonderful and informative day, this was exactly what my daughter and I were looking for. Beautiful scenery; hard at times but totally worth the amazing view from the top of Le Morne mountain. We were lucky to have one of the most experienced and skillful guide Yan. Highly recommended
